We use your data solely for the purpose of providing our services. This means that the purpose of the processing is always directly related to the request you provide. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share your data with us and we use this data to contact you at a later date—other than at your request—we will ask for your explicit permission. Your data is not shared with third parties, except to comply with accounting and other administrative obligations. All these third parties are bound by confidentiality on the basis of the agreement between them and Capuchon Fashion.
Automatically collected data
Data that is automatically collected by our website is processed for the purpose of further improving our services. This data (for example, your IP address, web browser and operating system) is not personal data.
Changes to the privacy policy
We reserve the right to change our privacy policy at any time. However, you will always find the most recent version on this page. If the new privacy policy has consequences for the way we process already collected data relating to you, we will inform you by email.
Payment processors
To process (part of) the payments in our webshop, we use the Billink and Sisow platforms. They process your name, address and city details and your payment details, such as your bank account or credit card number. Billink and Sisow have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Billink and Sisow reserve the right to use your data to further improve the service and, in this context, to share (anonymized) data with third parties. Billink and Sisow do not keep your data longer than is permitted under statutory time limits.
Shipping and logistics
If you place an order with us, it is our responsibility to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of PostNL to carry out deliveries. For this purpose, it is necessary for us to share your name, address and city details with PostNL. PostNL uses this data solely for the purpose of fulfilling the agreement. In the event that PostNL engages subcontractors, PostNL also makes your data available to these parties.
Your rights
Under applicable Dutch and European law, you as a data subject have certain rights regarding the personal data that is processed by or on our behalf. We explain below what these rights are and how you can exercise them.
In principle, to prevent misuse, we only send extracts and copies of your data to your already known email address with us. In the event that you wish to receive the data at a different email address or, for example, by post, we will ask you to prove your identity. We keep a record of completed requests; in the event of a request for erasure, we process anonymized data. You will receive all extracts and copies of data in the machine-readable data format that we use within our systems.
You have the right at any time to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority if you suspect that we are using your personal data incorrectly.
Right of access
You always have the right to access the data that we (have) processed and that relates to you or can be linked to you. You can make such a request to our privacy contact person. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send a copy of all data to your known email address, along with an overview of the processors who hold this data, stating the category under which we have stored this data.
Right to rectification
You always have the right to have the data that we (have) processed and that relates to you or can be linked to you amended. You can make such a request to our privacy contact person. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send a confirmation to your known email address that the data has been amended.
Right to restriction of processing
You always have the right to restrict the data that we (have) processed and that relates to you or can be linked to you. You can make such a request to our privacy contact person. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send a confirmation to your known email address that the data will no longer be processed until you lift the restriction.
Right to data portability
You always have the right to have the data that we (have) processed and that relates to you or can be linked to you transferred to another party. You can make such a request to our privacy contact person. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send extracts or copies of all data about you that we have processed, or that other processors or third parties have processed on our behalf, to your known email address. In such a case, we will probably no longer be able to continue the service, because the secure linking of data files can no longer be guaranteed.
Right of objection and other rights
In applicable cases, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by or on behalf of Capuchon Fashion. If you object, we will immediately stop processing the data pending the handling of your objection. If your objection is justified, we will make extracts and/or copies of the data that we (have) processed available to you and then permanently stop the processing.
You also have the right not to be subject to automated individual decision-making or profiling. We do not process your data in such a way that this right applies. Do you believe that it does? Then contact our privacy contact person.
